Schurz Communications Indiana newspapers won 22 awards in the Associated Press Managing Editors Association annual contest.
Winners were announced at the awards banquet in May.
The Bloomington Herald-Times won 15 awards, including eight firsts, three seconds and four thirds.
The Bedford Times-Mail won one first, one second and two thirds and the South Bend Tribune won one first, one second and one third. All three newspapers competed in different circulation categories.

Second place winners were:
