Brian Doane, formerly advertising director at the Idaho Press-Tribune in Nampa, Idaho, has been named advertising director for the Hoosier Times newspapers in Indiana, Publisher Mayer Maloney has announced.
The Idaho Press-Tribune is a 19,000 circulation, seven-day a week newspaper that is part of the Pioneer Newspaper chain.
Doane has been advertising director for four years. He has spent 20 years in the newspaper business.
Doane is a native of Iowa and a graduate of Iowa State University.
He’s 42 years old and married with two children.
“Brian has worked for several years in newspaper advertising and will bring a wealth of ideas, energy and experience to the job,” Maloney said. “He’s a pleasant and enjoyable person who will make a positive contribution to the Hoosier Times.”
