Sarah Morin has been named digital editor at the Bloomington, Ind. Herald-Times, Editor Bob Zaltsberg has announced.
Her duties will include making decisions, editorially and digitally, how the website pages look and what kind of content is on them. She will also monitor pageviews and overall site traffic to get maximum activity on the site. Other duties will include maintaining the budget, attending news meetings, attending the weekly digital meeting, posting on Facebook, sending out alerts, building subsites and helping train the staff.
Morin started at the Herald-Times in August 2002. In her eight plus years she has covered city government, youth culture and served as editor of INstride, the Herald-Times’ monthly fitness, wellness and nutrition magazine. She is a graduate of Indiana University and New York University.
