Marci Burdick will be honored March 15, 2012, at the RTDNF Awards Dinner in Washington, DC with the First Amendment Service Award, which is presented to a person of distinction who works in an off-air, management capacity.  Marci is the Senior Vice President - Electronic Division for Schurz Communications, a position she has held since February 2003.  She has won numerous awards for excellence in journalism both as a reporter and news manager, including two "National Edward R. Murrow Awards".  She is a past chairwoman of RTDNA and was the first woman to be elected to that position.  Marci also served for 10 years on the RTDNF board.
