RICHARD ZINKY

Richard Zinky serves as Vice President of Finance for Schurz Broadband Group where he partners with regional properties and corporate teams to lead financial reporting, capital planning, and strategic forecasting across the organization. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in finance including leadership roles in telecommunications, local government, and the energy sector. Prior to joining Schurz, Richard was Director of FP&A at Segra (formerly Lumos Networks) where he managed full P&L budgeting, supported the executive team with strategic financial insights, and led financial system implementations. He is known for aligning financial strategy with operational execution, driving EBITDA performance, and helping teams tell the story behind the numbers. Richard holds an MBA from the University of Mary Washington. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his young son and taking advantage of Virginia’s many parks and historic sites.
